What is pollution
If there are substances or a substance in the environment that is toxic and should not be there, there is pollution.
Introduction :- Pollution is the greatest threat to humanity in recent times. When there are impurities in the air, water, and the ground, the atmosphere is said to be polluted. The Smoke from mills and factories creates air pollution. The dirty chemical water factories and the cleaning of oil tankers cause water pollution. Pollution is dangerous for human health. The problem of pollution has become very serious nowadays and growing every day.
Types of Pollution:- {1} Air pollution. {2} Water pollution. {3} Soil pollution. {4} Noise pollution.
Air Pollution:- Air pollution is a big problem. It makes the environment dirty. Vehicles, factories and burning things cause air pollution. Dirty air is not suitable for people, animals or plants. Trees help clean the air, so we should plant more trees. Clean air is important for a happy earth. The main reason for air pollution is contamination of gases present in our environment. It is caused due to smoke that comes from industries, motor vehicles and the burning of agricultural wastes. Air pollution not only affects human beings but is also injurious to plants, trees and animals.
Water Pollution:- The contamination of water with poisonous chemicals causes water pollution. The main causes of water pollution are industrial waste, garbage, which includes many poisonous chemicals going into the river and other types of urban waste, including single-use plastic. Water pollution is also causing concern to man. The waste product from factories and thousands of litres of sewage are poured into rivers. In seas also, fuels, minerals, food and forest products all thrown into the sea make it polluted.
Soil Pollution:- The Presence of toxic chemicals in high concentration in soil is called soil pollution. Soil pollution is primarily caused by industrial activity, agricultural chemicals or improper disposal of waste. Soil pollution is a very big challenge for our environment today. Soil pollution is not heard most, but it has a major impact. The contamination of the fertile soil reduces the productivity of soil because of various toxic pollutants. Toxic pollutants are very dangerous and adversely affect the physical, chemical and biological properties of the soil.
Noise Pollution:- There are many types of Pollution in the environment; noise pollution is one of them, and it is very dangerous for health. Noise pollution is not only fatal for mankind; it is equally fatal for other living beings. It affects the routine of Wildlife Noise pollution affects our environment more than it affects our mental and physical condition. The use of Loudspeakers in festivals and large vehicles, Like trucks, buses, tractors, bulldozers, etc., can cause noise pollution. Noise pollution can cause mental disorders such as irritability. headache, etc…
Ways to reduce Pollution
(1)By reducing energy use and conserving energy can reduce the Air and water being polluted and also save money spending on electricity. This is done by driving less, keeping your car in good repair condition, using energy efficient bulbs, etc,
(2)By using less plastic and disposal containers.
(3)Stop burning garbage in your nearby places.
(4)Planting more and more trees and stop deforestation.
(5)Stop using private vehicles and prefer more public transport.
(6)Stop wasting of water.
(7)By treating waste water in proper way.
(8)By using resources like renewable energy helps a lot in saving from harmful diseases.
Conclusion:- Pollution disturbs our ecosystem and the balance in the environment. So, it is high time to come together and end this fight against Pollution for the betterment of future generation s. It is very sad to say that Pollution is the biggest enemy of the entire nature. We all need to cooperate in many ways with nature to reduce Pollution.
